身為台灣長大的孩子，媽祖就是我們血液里的信仰，特地來一趟莆田，主要就是為了來湄洲島，媽祖的故鄉
🚢上島方式：
莆田文甲碼頭→湄洲島（船程20分鐘左右）

文甲碼頭
在碼頭登船的時候，看到我拿台胞證，服務員還很熱情的和我聊天，說很多台灣人來
船還挺大，還有兩層，座位比千島湖的好多了，椅子感覺更舒服些，不過是真的很近呀，12:40分上船，13:00不到就到了，也就是20分鐘不到
媽祖祖廟
下船就直接到祖廟，沿著有祝福文字的階梯走上去，就像獲得了祝福，一步一腳印的、踏實的祝福，然後就到了聖旨牌樓，然後一路燒香過去，一直走到媽祖的石像。
本來以為石像就是參拜的終點，後來找到參觀路線的指示，才知道要怎麼走到天後宮和天後廣場，如果不注意是很容易錯過的
在走錯路的時候，剛好碰到參與“天下媽祖回娘家“活動儀式的隊伍，這種不在計劃內的偶遇，真的感覺是非常幸運
湄嶼潮音
拜完媽祖，完成此行最大的心願，就在湄嶼潮音看了下海和聽潮聲，心滿意足的回去了

· 觀光車可以談價格，但如果沒有要環島就不一定要坐
· 也可以租個電動車，價格也是可以談的
· 輪渡末班18:30，錯過就只能住島上民宿

🚢 Getting There
Depart from Wengjia Port (文甲码头) in Putian Round-trip fast ferry ticket: ¥125 (includes island entry) Travel time: around 20 minutes
💮 At the Mazu Ancestral Temple (妈祖祖庙)
The path begins with stone steps engraved with blessings, leading through the Imperial Edict Archway (圣旨牌楼) and up to the Grand Mazu Statue overlooking the sea.
Just when I thought I’d reached the end, I discovered hidden gems — the Tianhou Palace and Heavenly Empress Square — where a surprise awaited: the “Mazu Returns Home” parade in full celebration.
At Meiyu Chaoyin Pavilion, with waves echoing below and incense drifting through the air, I felt a peaceful sense of completion — like Mazu had quietly blessed the journey herself.
⚠️ Travel Tips
You can bargain for sightseeing carts or rent an e-bike. Walking is fine if you’re exploring only the temple area. Last ferry departs at 18:30 — miss it, and you’ll need to stay overnight on the island.
